Silly me.

So last night on the way home I stopped at the grocery store (Aldi) to get a few items. As I was bagging my things, I noticed the people behind me were having trouble coming up with some cash and had to put some items back. I felt bad and was thinking I should have offered to help them. But, I didn't have cash on me. After I left I kept thinking about the two of them. They both looked so disheveled. As I was leaving the parking lot the young man helping (probably his grandmother) off the curb, I waited for them to cross, still feeling bad. They walked right past me. Straight to their brand new Mercedes Benz SUV. I literally laughed at myself out loud. I had just been reminded, things are not always as they seem.
